I usually keep my nose out of politics precisely because of shenanigans of the sort displayed by Elizabeth Lauten. Imma Columbus This Day
Maybe it’s just my corner of Texas, maybe it’s the whole state (haven’t done the research and I am not really that committed so if someone wants to comment and let me know that would be great) but we aren’t getting Columbus Day off from classes. Not at the independent school district level and not my college. NOPE. It’s business as usual. Maybe that’s how it should be?
