How to run errands with children…
I ran errands today. Not shocking. I do that from time to time. What seemed to be noteworthy to a friend I ran into at the grocery store was that I did it with five children en tow. Only three were mine, two were on loan from a friend since the summer program her two children had been attending terminated a week before school began (crazy) and she needed someone to fill in the gap. That someone was me!

Been a long time…
Well, I just noticed that it’s been an indecently long time since I have written. And I guess it’s high time I got it together and updated. Its down to the last weeks before my husband returns from this latest deployment. I am excited and nervous. Nervous that he has a mental image of what the house we moved into almost a year ago looks like, and that the expectations are high. There’s still a lot of unpacked boxes and odds and ends I haven’t quite figured out what to do with in this new house. It has been busy. It seems like every day a thousand things are on…

Vice Device
I have a vice. It’s called reading. I like to read way too much, and in result sometimes my children pay the price. Today my son paid the price for the fact that I went to bed much to late. I couldn’t fall asleep after I stayed up late reading, so I was on the computer until much later. By the time I went to bed I knew I was in trouble…it also doesn’t help that I have my cell phone as an alarm, and the ringer is a song I know too well. So it didn’t serve to wake me today and I almost made my son miss the…
