Low Blow
Being told my contributions were negligible was a low blow. Has anyone ever recalled being told to their face that their efforts in a project were forgettable? Unnecessary? Pointless? A wasted effort?
Try being told that by your husband and the father of your children. If nothing made me want out of that marriage before, that statement certainly did.
It might be just him; if he isn’t alone on that Island of Delusions, then he is definitely the President.
This is also the same jerk who tried to tell me that I’d understand the stress he was under when I got a “real job”. When he said this to me, we were both active duty in the US Navy, and I had made rank faster than he had. Does a job get any more real than the military?
Fact is, he is just a real misogynistic assclown who wouldn’t know how to respect a woman if his life depended on it.

So he really shouldn’t be too surprised that I left him with nothing, taking every contribution he felt I hadn’t actually made with me.
