I love the chain of events that led to family movie night! Got woken up by my phone with the notice that I had a text from Redbox with their free movie code for December. Briefly discuss the pros and cons of getting dressed to make good on the offer. I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone, picking up the movie from the store where I can buy the Sunday paper for my coupons. Falling Into Home Improvement
Yesterday was the first day of Autumn…but the weather here in Hampton Roads is still clinging to summer. It’s a balmy 88 degrees and slightly muggy. Perfect beach weather, ha ha! So it’s not the crisp New England falls I remember from my youth, but it does put me in the mood for some home improvement projects!

Pool of trouble…
We bought this house a year ago, particularly because it has a wonderful in-ground pool in the backyard. We have three active children, of which the youngest two aged 9 and 7, are full of energy and love to be active having fun. The oldest one, 14, is more at ease with his nose glued to his computer screen or a video game console. So last summer, the two youngest spent every waking moment swimming that they could.
