Pool of Trouble
He deployed and left me with a pool I'd never maintained. It turned green. I sent him photos of everything except the backyard which contained the pool of trouble.
Haze Gray Matter
I think the most irritating thing about my dear military husband is that he likes to pretend that I don’t know what he is up to. Let me explain: I took a short trip this past weekend to visit my mother. He was supposed to have been on that trip, but his ship’s schedule changed at the last minute so he had to stay behind to get underway while I was gone.
Summer Doldrums
I am guilty of packing too much busyness into my days. I get all caught up in the “To Do” list that I forget how much fun it is to just take a break. I wish now, as the month of July comes to a close, that I had been able to have more of a break these last few months.
Back to the Bumpy Road
Well, I was right to be apprehensive. Things are only just getting back to some kind of normal. Kind of scary since he has been home for five months now. But to make matters worse, two weeks after his return, we got it into our heads to sell our house and move into a bigger home.
