D-Day – Battle of the Bulge
Today I visited a well recommended diet clinic in my area. I had two friends experience amazing results at said clinic, and given that left to my own devices, I will not motivate myself, I needed an outside factor.

Walking snooze buttons
I love my children. They are bright exuberant bundles of happiness. They also have this crazy habit of coming into my bedroom on the weekends at five minute intervals to wake me up. Ask me for cereal (which they know they can get themselves), ask me if they can play their educational Toy Story computer game (if its educational, unless they are grounded, its a green light) and can I tell their older brother to leave them alone and stop bothering them while they play said computer game. Mistaken Identity
As a new stay at home mother, late in the game, with kids that are of school age, it is not something that I have eased into. If anything, I am resisting the title due to the two types of SAHMs that seem to live in my area. The first faction are the pampered, college educated, apparently useless wives of men who make more than enough money to support their family. Their affluent lifestyle affords them big homes in a closed community, BMW SUV’s to shuttle their 2.5 children from soccer to dance, from dance to karate, then lastly to the tutoring service. It’s a lazy Saturday. Yet I woke up with my back feeling like someone had taken hammers to it. It hurts like hell. Had to take some Motrin to make it through the morning. Is this what getting old is supposed to feel like?
