Having a Senior Moment
Birthday anxiety at 35: four years until I'm officially old. At least the books saved me from drowning in pumpkin pie ice cream.
Going Mental in the Rental
One month in the New Jersey rental. Still unpacking. Christmas in 23 days. The crockpot is the only thing keeping me sane. Certain people expect a meal when they get home.
Pool of Trouble
He deployed and left me with a pool I'd never maintained. It turned green. I sent him photos of everything except the backyard which contained the pool of trouble.
Haze Gray Matter
I think the most irritating thing about my dear military husband is that he likes to pretend that I don’t know what he is up to. Let me explain: I took a short trip this past weekend to visit my mother. He was supposed to have been on that trip, but his ship’s schedule changed at the last minute so he had to stay behind to get underway while I was gone.
