Sunday, Sunday…

I love the chain of events that led to family movie night! Got woken up by my phone with the notice that I had a text from Redbox with their free movie code for December. Briefly discuss the pros and cons of getting dressed to make good on the offer. I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone, picking up the movie from the store where I can buy the Sunday paper for my coupons. Then the question of what to make for breakfast, which leads to a discussion about what we’ll make for lunch, and that I didn’t have a plan for, but if I’m headed out why don’t we all go, instead swing by Costco first for a few bulk items we need for the house–and hey, we can get lunch on the cheap at the food court. Perfect.

So we get some shopping done, get all our items checked off the list and we get a movie to watch after dinner… Not bad for a day catalyzed by a text message. Hopefully next Sunday our day will include visiting a church. I gotta say I miss my church in VA. I guess it’s true what they say–starting over is hard to do!
