It’s time for another rendition of music roulette and the second uncurated playlist from my life. It’s been a hot minute since the first episode. For those of you just tuning in, there was a time when I made mix tapes. Now I make playlists. There’s a resurgence in the needs and wants to own one’s music. Orphan Noir – Leaning Into the Rage: The Batman and Bruce Wayne
I saw this movie last night and when I woke up today, I finally realized why this movie was so different. Unlike the other Batman movies, where Bruce Wayne is living the billionaire playboy lifestyle during the day, this one is isolated, emo and dark. It is so much more believable that Bruce Wayne is an orphan in The Batman. Robert Pattison was giving me the orphan noir vibes I didn’t know I needed. And I am living for it.
Google Music is the Compact Solution for the Missing De La Soul Albums
De La Soul's early albums were missing from every streaming service. Google Music let me upload my own ripped CDs as a workaround. Update: the catalog is now on Spotify.
