I Need a Vacation from Their Summer Vacation

I love my children and I love hanging out with my children. However, sometimes there is too much of a good thing. Since school doesn’t start for another two weeks, I am feeling the pressure mounting. I am near my breaking point.

It is altogether possible that they are getting sick of being around me all the time too. We recently made two road trips this month so far (despite the ridiculous price of gas) which with round trips calculated it equated to a total of 29 hours in a car together with the kids. Wow…no wonder I am so tired.

I need a vacation.
