What the Fiji? First World Problems
I’m at Walgreens and this lady actually looked at the bottles of water I placed on the counter at the checkout and said “Oh, I love Fiji water too! It’s the only kind of water I can drink.” and with a straight face. I wanted to reply, “So what did you drink before Fiji water hit the market?”
Then her little smartphone rang and whoever was on the other end must have asked her what she was up to because she replied she was stopping at the Walgreens right by her new house. Which could mean any number of things, but one thing was for sure: this bitch has first-world problems.
FWP has struck the New World (and the capitalist fat cats that reside within) and ruined their view of the globe. In a third world country, many would be grateful to have clean water, regardless of the source. It’s the lack of appreciation and the excess of entitlement that bothers me about people with FWPs. You know who I am talking about, they wouldn’t know what a real problem was if it bit them in the face? You could be an FWP carrier. Check yourself! Check your family…

I am not burdened with an overabundance of money, nor am I dirt poor, but I do have humble roots, and perhaps that has given me a unique appreciation for where I am today. I am content with what I have, I appreciate the value of the tangible and intangible things in my life, but I am not going to pass up an opportunity at the finer things if I can swing them my way.
That being said: the ONLY reason I was going to purchase a bottle of water of any kind was because I stupidly ran out of the house without my Nalgene bottle. Also, it’s 90+ degrees in Texas and I wasn’t going to be back home for another two hours, therefore needed to stay hydrated.

As she left, I wondered to myself if she realized most water tastes the same. And I doubt she’d be able to tell the difference.
