Day 10 of quarantine. My routine hasn't changed much. The garbage disposal is dripping. My sons only emerge for food. And my mother asked if I'd heard from the ex. I assume he's alive.
No Laughing Matter – The Joke is On Us
It's April 1st, 2020. A friend just got back from Disney World. A coworker wanted to fly to Hawaii for cheap airfare. I saw the India/Wuhan report and knew it was coming. The joke's on all of us.

I am lucky that I work for a company that actually gives a shit about their employees. I mean, they look at the bottom line when making decisions, but they weigh their decisions against the scale of the effect the decision will have on the people. I have worked for companies that on the surface look like they care, but when the shit hits the fan, it’s the non-salaried workers that pay the price.
